After decades of neglecting our roads and bridges and putting NJ’s infrastructure on a credit card, we finally have funding of the Transportation Trust Fund that is an investment in New Jersey’s future.
Thanks to NJ’s legislative leaders for having the political courage to make the tough decision to raise the gas tax and recognize that NJ’s roads and bridges are the foundation of our economy and quality of life.
Infrastructure benefits all and it’s time to make our bridges safer, make our roads smoother, and the largest statewide public transit system in the country more modern. Let’s get back to work.
