The most heavily urbanized region of the United States (with 17% of the country’s population) is the Boston-Washington Corridor. Luckily, New Jersey is right in the middle, and we also happen to have the third busiest container port in the country, making us a key player in the region’s logistics, the business of moving goods and materials throughout the region and beyond.
Having the proper economic climate and the right infrastructure for logistics is key to New Jersey’s economy. The NJ Turnpike Expansion project has generated a boom in warehouse facilities along exits 6-9. This project in Newark will create jobs and opportunities for the state’s largest city.
