If you’ve ever been to a Dave & Buster’s in New York, Pennsylvania, or elsewhere and wished one would open closer to home, well now you may be in luck, as Governor Christie has just signed a bill that opens the door to Dave & Buster’s and other businesses that want to operate amusement games.
“The only thing that was standing between a multi-million dollar job creator like Dave & Buster’s — which is interest in opening multiple locations here as soon as possible — and the state of New Jersey was one outdated law…No other state in the country had that ban, and the bottom line is that it simply made New Jersey less competitive.”

– Assemblyman Joseph Lagana (D-Bergen)

Dave & Buster’s, with over 70 locations in 30 states, is reported to be interested in opening up a couple of locations in New Jersey, which will lead to evenings of good, clean fun and jobs. A win-win by any measure.
